Delete account & data

You can request the deletion of your ViaRide account (rider or driver) and its associated personal data at any time.

This page applies to the ViaRide (rider) and ViaRide Driver apps by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME].

Option 1: from the app

Riders: open ViaRide → Profile → Settings → Delete account → confirm.

Drivers: open ViaRide Driver → Profile → Settings → Delete account → confirm.

Option 2: with this form

If you no longer have the app installed or can’t sign in, fill in the form on this page with your account’s email and phone number. We will email you a reference number.

What data we delete

  • Your profile: name, photo, email and phone number.
  • Saved places and preferences.
  • Location history linked to your account.
  • In-app chat messages.
  • For driver accounts: verification documents and images, and vehicle details.

What data we may keep

For legal, tax and safety obligations we may keep, with restricted access, trip, payment and billing records, and information related to claims or safety incidents, for [X] years. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

Timeline

You will receive an immediate confirmation email. We verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days. If you have an outstanding balance or a trip in progress, we will resolve it with you first.
